Nyan Cat

Yes people. I actually watched the nyan cat video. The only reason I watch it was because I was curious and had nothing better to do. For people who don't know what the nayn cat is, it is basically a cat with a pop-tart for the body and it is running through space with a rainbow coming out of it's butt. The only reason I watch it was I was curious and had nothing better to do. It was so funny. I was laughing for the hour of the video then it got really annoying. The video is 10 hours long. I only watched 2 and a half hours of it and then I was really annoyed and bored. So basically I was bored and watched it and after I watched it, I go even more bored. Then I stopped watching and did something else. But now when I look back, I can't believe I wasted 2 and a half hours of my life watching that. If anyone wants to watch it here is the link.

I have to warn you. I think I killed some of my brain cells because I watched the video.

Saturday School is a pain in the "you know what"

Tomorrow is Saturday and I am pretty sure the whole world doesn't have school. On Saturdays, every typical teenager goes out and hangs out with their friends or sleep until very late and watch cartoons. Usually on Saturdays I wake up at 10:30am and watch some cartoons. But tomorrow that is not going to happen. My parents decided I am not smart enough. They registered me for Saturday School at A+ Academy. Apparently to my parents I am never allowed to relax. School work is really important and they think if I watch TV or play the computer, my brain will somehow breakdown. I extremely hate going to Saturday school. It is the second thing worst to Summer School. I hear from people who go to A+ Academy, they have a lot of homework. I think to myself "HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSE TO CONCENTRATE ON SCHOOL WORK WHEN I AM GETTING TONS OF HOMEWORK FROM SATURDAY SCHOOL"??!!
I have a really sad life. Part of the reason I am anti-social is because my parents won't let me go hang out with my friends when it is Saturday or Sunday. So when they ask my why I don't have any friends, I am going to say "You expect me to have friends when all you guys do is make me go to Saturday school, study 7 day a week and not let my go anywhere alone with them"? It is so annoying having strict parents!!!

Life in Midwood

Going to a new school is never easy. But so far my experience in Midwood is pretty good. At first I thought that it was going to be really hard in high school because of all the homework, projects and mean teachers. Surprisingly, there is not a lot of homework or projects and all my teachers are super nice. My favorite classes are Spanish, Global, Math and Living Environment. All the teachers are really funny and make jokes once in a while and my global teacher can make a joke out of anything he teaches us.  My class spent the first few days of school laughing at all of the things he said. The classes I don't really like are my Music, English and Health. I don't really like Music because I got into a chorus. I CAN'T SING!!! That is a true fact about me. So basically the school put me in a class I can't possibly pass. But the good thing about that class is I can lip sync because there are a lot of people, especially girls. Another good thing about Midwood is I made some friends. I met them during lunch since that is the only class I share with them. Besides lunch, the only class I actually talk to people in is Spanish because a friend I met in summer school is there.

Those were the positive things about Midwood. Here are some negative things. The school is extremely crowded. There are over 4,000 students and 1,100 of them are freshman.  Getting from one class to another is extremely difficult but some how I mange to get to class on time before the bell rings. Another negative thing is waiting for the bus to go home. Everyday when I try to get home, I always have to wait for the 3rd or 4th bus. By the time I get home, it's 5 o' clock. The buses are always packed full. There was this one time on bus where there were too many people and the bus couldn't move so some people had to get off. But I'll have to get used to that since I have another four years at Midwood. So that is my experience so far. I hope as the year goes by, the classes I don't like, I will learn to like them.

Tomorrow is the First Day of School...Already????

Sadly, yes, tomorrow is the first day of school. I can't believe my summer went by so fast. Looking back to the beginning of my summer, I was really bored at home because I had nothing to do. Usually I spend my whole entire summer in summer school (because I have Asian parents). But this year was different. I went on vacation and had a great time. When that was over, I realized myself I was counting the days, hours and minutes left before school  started again. I have a really sad life. Anyway, since tomorrow is the first day of my freshman year at Midwood High School, I am kinda sad because most of the friends I made in middle school are not going to be in the same school. The person I will miss the most is my very, very best friend Vanessa. We had so many laughs. I can't remember a day in 8th grade where we didn't laugh about things we said to each other. But, saying goodbye to old friends opens a door for new ones. Good Luck to everyone starting school tomorrow!!! I hope you all will have a wonderful school year!!!!
