Going to a new school is never easy. But so far my experience in Midwood is pretty good. At first I thought that it was going to be really hard in high school because of all the homework, projects and mean teachers. Surprisingly, there is not a lot of homework or projects and all my teachers are super nice. My favorite classes are Spanish, Global, Math and Living Environment. All the teachers are really funny and make jokes once in a while and my global teacher can make a joke out of anything he teaches us. My class spent the first few days of school laughing at all of the things he said. The classes I don't really like are my Music, English and Health. I don't really like Music because I got into a chorus. I CAN'T SING!!! That is a true fact about me. So basically the school put me in a class I can't possibly pass. But the good thing about that class is I can lip sync because there are a lot of people, especially girls. Another good thing about Midwood is I made some friends. I met them during lunch since that is the only class I share with them. Besides lunch, the only class I actually talk to people in is Spanish because a friend I met in summer school is there.
Those were the positive things about Midwood. Here are some negative things. The school is extremely crowded. There are over 4,000 students and 1,100 of them are freshman. Getting from one class to another is extremely difficult but some how I mange to get to class on time before the bell rings. Another negative thing is waiting for the bus to go home. Everyday when I try to get home, I always have to wait for the 3rd or 4th bus. By the time I get home, it's 5 o' clock. The buses are always packed full. There was this one time on bus where there were too many people and the bus couldn't move so some people had to get off. But I'll have to get used to that since I have another four years at Midwood. So that is my experience so far. I hope as the year goes by, the classes I don't like, I will learn to like them.
You know what Sharon? THIS could be turned into an essay... I'm sure you'll get like an A or something~ :D

I miss you a lot. I am not used to not having someone scream my name across the middle of the hallway.
